Tiled PDF reconstruction

Stitch PDF pattern pages into one full-size pattern

Reconstruct compatible vector A4, A3, or Letter pages, remove repeated overlap geometry, and review uncertain joins before export.

What changes

Turn tiled pages back into editable geometry

Joining page files side by side is not enough. Margins, overlap, clipped paths, and duplicate lines can remain. Laytura reads vector page geometry, aligns the grid, removes repeated segments, and marks uncertain joins instead of silently guessing.

Workflow

From source file to checked result

  1. 01

    Add the tiled vector PDF

Choose one multipage PDF or several compatible vector PDF files. Scanned pages use the separate Scan to Pattern workflow.

  2. 02

    Confirm page order and overlap

Laytura detects page dimensions and alignment, with manual overlap correction available.

  3. 03

    Inspect the reconstruction

Zoom and pan around the full-size preview, then review highlighted findings.

  4. 04

    Export the result

Download a full-size PDF, SVG, DXF, or PLT / HPGL representation.

Questions

What to know before you start

Can Laytura combine A4 pattern pages into one large PDF?

Yes, when the source pages contain compatible vector pattern geometry. The rebuilt page keeps the reconstructed physical dimensions.

Does the result automatically become A0?

No. Rebuilding restores one full-size page at the pattern’s dimensions; it does not force the result onto a standard A0 sheet.

Can it rebuild scanned pattern pages?

Not in the vector reconstruction workflow. Open scanned pages with Scan to Pattern, review the traced pieces, and calibrate physical scale before printing.

Ready when your pattern is

Make your pattern printable.

Open a pattern, check the scale, and preview the result before using paper.
